To make your own flash cards you will need :
- Flash Card (Buisness card) Printable Template
- Printer
- Cardstock
- Printable Business Cards (optional) *affiliate link
- Laminator (optional) *affiliate link
I use these flash cards to do TONS of fun learning activities. You can teach your children letter recognition, letter sounds, sight words, number recognition, addition, subtraction, shape recognition, color recognition and more. Just download a business card template and start typing in what you want on your cards. Printing the cards on printable business cards ensures that they are all the same size and it saves a lot of time. But you can also print them on card stock. You might want to laminate them so they last.

I LOVE all of these ideas. I’ll definitely use them with my children! You are so right that when you are excited about teaching, then you’re children are excited to learn. 🙂 Great flash card printables as well! Thank you!

One website I found to help you make your own printable flashcards is http://knowledgemouse.com/km/flash_cards/new. You can either type in your own words or questions, or use a bunch of ones already created. The site also has other activities, such as a word search puzzle creator, math quizzes, and a new language learning section.

Flash cards are excellent for helping you remember facts! Another good way to remember a list of things or a passage is to break it down. Learn a small amount of it. Say it over and over. Add a little more and start from the beginning saying it over and over. Add a little more once you have that part, but each time you recite it, start from the beginning…good luck!

Great Share!
Must say, games increase a person’s capabilities and assist in developing a better understanding of ourselves. Games should be fun for one to want to continue practicing them, but they can also have an educational nature. Most importantly, games can affect a person’s psychological state leading to excitement and the feeling of one being proud for an accomplishment. Games are not a waste of free time. Thanks for sharing such an amazing post 🙂
Cheers!
