We have a busy schedule, but enjoy large breakfasts. However, the clean up can be very time consuming. Try De’Longhi’s MultiFry Multicooker for a healthier, less messy breakfast with this easy hash browns recipe! The MultiFry combines a low-oil fryer and a multi cooker so you can create everything from pizza to french fries. It can also be used to make cakes, meat, fish, and fried vegetables. For these hash browns, we used the removable mixing paddle, to help stir the hash browns.
This can be taken out for sold foods such as cake or pies. With a double heating element, the Multifry is speedy and holds close to 4 pounds of food. It is topped with a BPA-free transparent lid, so you can easily watch your food cook!
For our valuable weekend family time, the MultiFry made clean up simple. On the stove, frying hash browns makes a mess and oil splatters everywhere. More often than not, it makes an oily mess on our stove and kitchen floor that is tough to clean up.
Easy Hash Browns with the De’Longhi MultiFry
Despite not much oil and no cooking spray, the MultiFry pan and paddle were simple to clean out; a huge plus for our busy family. This morning, we wanted to make some hash browns, topped with sour cream and cheese for extra flavors.
If you don’t enjoy trying or creating new recipes, the MultiFry comes with a recipe book, filled with 20 basic recipes with step-by-step instructions in English, Spanish, and French. We were also excited to find even more recipes on the De’Longhi website, for endless possibilities.
The only negative we found was the size; with two heating elements and two fans, it cooked quickly and evenly, however takes up quite a bit of space. However, it is smaller than a deep fryer, and can do much more, on a lot less oil. Overall, we enjoyed our MultiFryer and will definitely be using it in the future!
