I made these yesterday, but I did not add salt or sugar, instead I added 2 tsp salt free Cajun spice to the butter and honey mix before pouring it over the nuts. I have had rave reviews from all who have tried them. The next time I make them I am going to try baking them in small muffin cups to form small clusters. I will report back with the results.

In reply to Tasha. So you choose 3 tbs of sweetener of your choice and then the 1/2 tsp of sugar (like raw granulated) is for the top when they come out of the oven, but that is optional.

SO IN THE recipe when it calls for sugar is that supposed to be brown sugar? So like honey, butter, and brown sugar?

You mention brown sugar in your blog, but not in the actual recipe and directions. The picture also shows a much thicker glaze than just honey and butter. How much brown sugar is meant to be included in the glaze? They look scrumpy!
