Spring is on it’s way! Hurry up so I can start my garden! I love when the green starts to come back to my grass and flowers. But with those things comes the rain. Its always good to have a few rainy day activities in your Mommy toolbox to help fight boredom off for the kids. I’ve got some really unique ones for you today!
This post contains an awesome giveaway. For more information, please read my full disclosure.

Letter Hockey
What a fun and creative way to practice letter sounds, and I bet your older children would love teaching the younger ones on a rainy day!
Back Massage
Create a pretend musical instrument on a shirt! Dads will appreciate this activity! I would too.
Minecraft Paper Craft
Turn your child’s favorite computer game into a craft. Then you can have the computer back.
DIY Fabric Crayon Pillowcase
I have never heard of these! They are so inexpensive and my children would love creating their own designs.
Homemade Chia Pet
Make your own pet indoors and then put it outside to catch some of that rain and help it grow.
Animation for Kids
Although this was done with a kit, you could have your children experiment with camera and a tripod! I absolutely love this idea!

LOVE the music shirt! I think I’ll try that the next time I need a massage…although with my family, it’ll probably be more of a beating than a massage!

I know Tracy, that is exactly how it is with my kids, but they are so young that a beating feels good. As long as they don’t do it with their feet 🙂 So funny!
