Regardless of what you believe baptism is for, the existence of it as a rite in the Christian religion is an evidence for Jesus’s resurrection because before He rose, it wasn’t practiced. I definitely believe it is a step in the journey. As the Bible verse says in the post: “Peter said to them, “Repent, each of you and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”” Acts 2:38.

I have just one concern: with the R as the right of baptism it sounds as if you are saying that baptism is literally the means of salvation. Is this what you believe? Where does that leave repentance and faith and trust in Christ? There-in lies the true means of salvation.
