I think this nightly cleanup activities must start with us, the adults. Children are watching you always, more than often, they try to pickup and copy us, whether good or bad. I think a good start would be to let them watch us do the clean up at night and let them be curious and ask questions, then they will be motivated.

Thanks for helping me understand how using daily activities to build my kids’ character can really help. Although my son is really active when it comes to schoolwork, I notice that he can work on his own hygiene. Aside from establishing a routine that we’ll both follow, maybe I can buy a hygiene book for kids that he can read during his free time.
