I find it interesting that you recommended that families can look through brochures at a rest area in order to get ideas on what to do for a day trip. In my opinion, one should look out for discounted lodging rates if there are local festivals at the moment. Doing this will help a family find a safe place to rest while having more money to use to participate in a town's local culture, such as eating contests or hay bale rides.

I'm glad you like the ideas, Savannah! What fun memories with your cousins!!! I hope you're able to make many more if you do decide to get the bikes. And if not, I'm sure you can figure out some other clever ways to have fun around home! :)

These are some AWESOME tips, and great ideas to bring your family closer together! I remember camping in the backyard with my cousins when we were little, and it was soooo much fun. Nights I will never forget haha. Our city is super bike friendly, so my husband and I have been talking about getting some bikes and a little thing to pull our 16-month-old along-it's such a great idea! Thanks so much for sharing <3
