There is no reason that anyone else’s marriage will weaken your marriage. The strength of your marriage is up to you, your spouse, and God, not the government.

Personally, I feel stronger when I do what I know is right even though I could have done wrong with no penalty from the earthly authorities. When the law won’t allow you to make any choice but the right one, you may be making that choice for the wrong reason: fear of punishment instead of seeking God’s will.
