It is hard to cover such a mammoth topic in just a few paragraphs, so I am sorry if my points seems unsubstantiated. Also, this is probably the first time you have heard anything like this – new ideas usually seem “Coocoo for cocoa puffs,” especially to such an utterly schooled society as America. I said at the very beginning that this post was only meant to plant a seed.

Still, I think it’s silly to throw your kid into a system known for its failures, simply because you read a few paragraphs that underwhelmed you.

If you really want to know the truth about school read Revealing School. If it doesn’t convince you, nothing will. And then you can send your son to school fully aware of the danger. Either way, I wish you and your son the best.

I wanted to like this. I did! I am a parent to a 4 year old who and am considering what direction to go with my child educationally. My child has yet to experience any formal schooling and I recently found out in my state that Kindergarten isn’t mandatory (I would not have to even register to home school next year. I could just keep him home with me). This though, makes you sound coocoo for cocoa puffs. And now I just want to go ahead and send my son to public school. I have no further words. Just WOW!
