I never thought about using decor like a decorative draft snake or hay bales for insulation. And of course, remembering to turn off lights and using CFLs, as well as powering down the computer, are simple yet effective ways to reduce energy consumption.

We decided to insulate our house last summer, and this is my best solution for saving energy during the season. We don’t have to use heater inside the house. The insulation does that. I am expecting of the same way during summer as well. I really hope so.
